Poster Session

On Saturday afternoon, in parallel with the outreach event, we held a poster session for the participants in the regular scientific meeting. This session was coordinated by Juan Valiente-Kroon and Timothy Clifton, and was aimed at representing the research that happens in general relativity throughout the UK.

Research on numerical relativity is explained to a participant of the meeting.

Giles Hammond, from the University of Glasgow, explains gravitational wave emission and detection.

Adem Hursit, a PhD student at Queen Mary, explains the research his group does on mathematical relativity.

Pedro Carrilho, a PhD student in cosmology, explains the research done in this field at Queen Mary.
