Welcome to the home page of Richard Nelson. I am a Professor of Astronomy and Mathematics, and the Director of the Astronomy Unit, in the School of Physics and Astronomy, at Queen Mary, University of London. My research focuses on the formation and evolution of planetary systems, the dynamics of astrophysical discs, and computational astrophysics. I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate lecture courses in mathematics, physics and astronomy. My office is room 214 in the G.O. Jones building.
